Crown Publications

We provide worldwide public access to over 13,200 print and electronic publications on the widely used online bookstore, CrownPub.bc.ca. Publications from Government Ministries, public sector organizations, and publicly-funded authors and agencies are available, including popular CD-ROM and online subscription services like the BC Building Code 2006 and QP LegalEze.

CrownPub.bc.ca is the online bookstore for print and electronic publications from the BC Government, participating public sector organizations and publicly-funded authors and agencies. Many publications are free and can be downloaded or viewed online (look for listings marked N/A in the price column).

Public sector organizations are encouraged to place their publications on the widely used Crown Publications site. Not only do we offer high visibility for your publications, we also generate revenue for you by returning a royalty on the publications we sell on your behalf.

Shopping Cart

A “shopping cart” system is used to purchase publications on the Crown Publications site. The shopping cart incorporates Secure Socket Layer technology by Verisign, Inc. which allows secure credit card transactions for private sector and general public customers using Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  

Public sector customers, such as schools, municipalities, ministries and government-funded agencies, can become account customers and be billed by invoice or electronic chargeback. Please contact a customer service representative to set up an account.
